A collection of over 20 murals painted on the sides of local buildings, the Mural Project has become a tourist attraction in 29 Palms. The murals depict the history of the area and several beautiful desert scenes. The Mural Project is sponsored by the Action Council for 29 Palms, Inc., and was started in 1994.
