Twentynine Palms offers recreational activities at two City Parks, two golf courses, and the Bowladium, a bowling facility with other recreational options.

The City Parks, Luckie Park and Knott Sky Park, feature many recreational facilities including a swimming pool, picnic shelters, playgrounds, a skateboard park, two basketball courts, baseball fields, a soccer field, racquetball courts and more.

There are two golf courses in Twentynine Palms that are open to the public. Roadrunner Dunes located in the city and Desert Winds is located at the Military Base, but is open to the public.

Roadrunner Dunes Golf Course is the only public golf course in Twentynine Palms. It is a 9-hole course that offers the finest greens in the desert, water obstacles, sand bunkers, and doglegs. Desert Winds Golf Course is a military golf course located at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center.
